So what does this mean? It means you can apply for a reimbursement of $150 of the cost of registration! But hop to it — the grants are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Here’s the link (SinC will ask you to log in, as this is for members only):

Catriona McPherson is the author of the Dandy Gilver novels, set in Scotland in the 1930s where but not when she was born. (Dan Brown meets Barbara Pym is a press comment I cherish – CMcP.) The series has won numerous awards including two Agathas and is in development for television at STV in the UK. She also writes darker (that’s not difficult) contemporary standalones, including THE CHILD GARDEN and GO TO MY GRAVE. These have been Edgar and Mary Higgins Clark finalists. SCOT FREE (the lighter side of the dark underbelly of the California dream) is Catriona’s first USA-set mystery. Catriona lives on twenty scruffy acres in Nor Cal, with a black cat and a scientist, where she writes full-time. Check her out at www.catrionamcpherson.com and follow her on Twitter.
We’re thrilled to announce our first Guest of Honor: Tess Gerritsen.
Trained as a medical doctor, Tess built a second career as a thriller writer. Her 27 novels include the Rizzoli and Isles crime series, on which the TV show “Rizzoli & Isles” is based.
Among her titles are HARVEST, GRAVITY, THE SURGEON, PLAYING WITH FIRE, and I KNOW A SECRET. Her books are translated into 40 languages and more than 30 million copies have been sold. She lives in Maine.
Learn more about her and her work at http://www.tessgerritsen.com/ and follow her on Twitter.
