The CCWC book giveaway is on fire: Next up, Faye Snowden

Our book giveaway leading up to the June 12 virtual conference is afoot! Last week, we kicked off with a random drawing of Anne Perry’s DEATH IN FOCUS for a lucky registrant. The author will be on our panel The Exquisite Joy of Finding Out: How To Research Your Novel

We’re on fire with this time around with author Faye Snowden: She is generously offering two hardcovers and five e-books (!) of A KILLING FIRE, a dark, southern gothic tale featuring homicide detective Raven Burns and the first in a four-part series. How hot is it? Just ask bestselling author Jess Lourey, who wrote: “Faye Snowden’s A Killing Fire left me breathless. Driven by a complex, compelling female lead, the story twists with heart-pounding, raw energy against a lush Louisiana backdrop. I couldn’t put it down!”

Snowden’s other novels include SPIRAL OF GUILT, THE SAVIOR and FATAL JUSTICE. Her short story, ONE BULLET, ONE VOTE, was selected as one of the best American mystery and suspense stories of 2021 by editors Steph Cha and Alafair Burke (available for pre-order).

Catch Snowden, who serves as national board secretary for Sisters in Crime, on the Police Procedurals in 2021: Addressing Social Justice and the Pandemic panel alongside Rachel Howzell Hall, Ausma Khan and Isabel Maldonado, and moderated by Jessica Kaye.

Don’t miss out on our giveaways: Register today.

Reading doesn’t have to be a solitary activity. CCWC would love to encourage folks to start their own virtual book clubs. Get your pals to register and order a copy of A KILLING FIRE

See you in June!
